The nationally renowned zoo is home to 10,000 animals
Halloween is coming to Bedfordshire's Whipsnade Zoo throughout the October half-term.
Between Saturday, 22 and Sunday October 30, visitors to ZSL Whipsnade Zoo can celebrate the spooky during their day's out with something for the whole family. Boo at the Zoo is bringing a wide range of Halloween chaos to the UK's biggest zoo.
The nationally renowned zoo is home to 10,000 animals, including a herd of endangered Asian elephants and two species of rhinoceros. Autumn visitors will be able to see some of the Zoo’s recent additions, including a baby Asian elephant named after the late Queen.

Events taking place include a magic show and spooky disco, where kids can boogie and show off their fancy dress, entering a creepy costume contest. Riding the steam train and help a wizard complete his spell by spotting mischievous ghosts and items from his potions kit hidden along the ride, before decorating their own pumpkin, along with other crafts using recycled materials.
Visitors can also listen to themed talks and find out interesting facts, whilst watching the animals, including discovering why meerkats can eat scorpions despite their venomous sting.
