HAVE A NOSY AROUND TOWN AS OPEN HOUSE FESTIVAL RETURNS FOR 2022 – London On The Inside

If you like nosing around other people’s pads then you won’t wanna miss Open House Festival. For two weeks in September hundreds of buildings in the capital, many of which are usually closed to the public, swing open their doors and let you have a look inside. 2022 is the 30th year of Open House and after two years of much smaller scale events, this year’s programme is packed with good stuff, including walking tours, workshops, guided tours and a whole host of buildings open for drop-ins.
Highlights of the programme this year include tours of Lambeth Palace Library, the Meta office, Waterloo City Farm, Rom Skatepark, the Old Operating Theatre Museum, Battersea Power Station, Royal Opera House, Africa House, the Anderson WW2 Bomb Shelter, Inner Temple Gardens, Van Gogh House, Crystal Palace Bowl, and Fitzrovia Chapel. And as ever, it’s totally FREE, so go exploring.
