Hybrid lifestyle expected to stay post COVID – Sky News Australia

Tech Guide Editor Stephen Fenech says many people have “embraced” the hybrid business lifestyle which they were forced to take up because of the pandemic.
“You cast your mind back a year ago and none of us had a choice, we had to do everything virtually, we had to work rom home, learn from home, the virtual meetings all the video conferences we had,” he said.
“But … a year and a half later now that we do have a choice a lot of people have actually embraced that hybrid lifestyle.
“There’s a lot of Australians who feel that we can still do those things, still meet virtually instead of in person”.
A study showed 70 per cent of Australians were in favour of continuing the hybrid lifestyle for business compared to 64 per cent in the United States and 63 per cent in the United Kingdom.
However, Mr Fenech told Sky News 62 per cent of Australians still plan to resume business travel once the international borders reopen.
